Robert Kipniss: Paintings 1950-2005

This book presents an overview of Kipniss's long career as a painter. Never one to accumulate photographs, here there is the opportunity to see the earlier work and trace the development of his style and technique as well as the evolution of his aesthetic vision. There are 102 full-page full-color plates, as well as thoughtful essays by E. John Bullard, director emeritus of the New Orleans Museum of Art, and by Richard Boyle, noted art historian and former professor of art history at Temple University.

This book can be ordered from Hudson Hills Press in Manchester, Vermont.
